The Calvary arrives! Our February Speaker
Deborah “’Borah” Van Dormolen is no ordinary person.  She is an accomplished soldier, businessperson, Republican political leader, legislative advocate, athlete, and community leader.  In 2010 she was honored with “Distinguished Military Retiree” for Texas for her outstanding contributions to both active duty and retired service members and their families.

Lieutenant Colonel (Retired) ‘Borah Van Dormolen has traveled a long way since her early days as a student at West Chester College, Pennsylvania.  In 1974, she enlisted in the U.S. Army and rose through the ranks retiring in 1997 after 23 years with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.  She served in various command, staff and leadership positions, including a term as Professor at the US Military Academy at West Point.  She was commander of logistics operations units for the U.S. Army’s largest and most powerful military formations, including the famed 1st Cavalry Division and 13th Corps Support Command.

Borah’s political activities are also remarkable.  She is the National Committeewoman for the Republican Party of Texas.  She has served the Texas Federation of Republican Women (TFRW) the second largest Federation in the country, as President 2006-2007. She has applied her considerable leadership and teaching skills to campaign management seminars for the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) and TFRW and travels our great state, addressing Republican organizations and participating in conservative efforts all because of her deep belief in our Party and our principles.

Please make your reservations to attend our meeting Feb. 14th and hear what we learn from this accomplished Republican Woman.

Dynamic Duo

Frisco is actually in two different counties, so we’ve invited both commissioners to participate in our February meeting. Collin County Commissioner Matt Shaheen will be providing the meeting invocation. Then his counterpart, Denton County Commissioner Hugh Coleman will introduce our speaker.
