Congressman Burgess to give report in North Texas:
Update on Health Care Act, Supreme Court Case and 2012 Election

Frisco, Texas - Congressman Burgess the keynote speaker for the Frisco Area Republican Women's March luncheon will be speaking about the Affordable Care Act and specifically how it will affect North Texans, according to a spokesperson from Burgess' Washington D.C. office.  His speech will address the upcoming Supreme Court case concentrated on the Affordable Care Act, along with subjects of the 2012 Presidential election.

After spending nearly three decades practicing medicine in North Texas, Congressman Michael C. Burgess, M.D., first ran for Congress in 2002, and continues to serve the constituents of the 26th District. Dr. Burgess has been a strong advocate for health care legislation aimed at reducing health care costs, improving choices, reforming liability laws to put the needs of patients first, and ensuring there are enough doctors in the public and private sector to care for America's patients and veterans.  He has played an important role in bipartisan efforts to ensure the safety of food, drugs, and consumer products, and has introduced legislation to strengthen the ability to stop dangerous products from coming into the country. Click here to read Congressman Burgess' Biography!
